Nawabshah is a city located in Sindh and has an administrative status of a District. Nawabshah has a population of nearly 1.13 million inhabitants according to the population consensus survey of 2017. The city is named after the Syed Nawab Shah who donated 200 acres of land to the British to construct a railway station who in honour named it after them as “Nawabshah”. Interestingly, it is also the hometown of one of Pakistan’s most famous politician; Asif Ali Zardari.
Nawabshah is famous for its agriculture crops of sugarcane, mango and is one of the largest producers of bananas in the country. Thus, most of the population earn their living from agriculture. The city has one of the harshest climates in the country with very hot summers in which temperatures soar up to 50 degree Celsius,
