This AI-powered assistant can help people get away from their everyday chores and is a way to help people get away from their phone screens.

Pichai even played recordings of the Google Assistant independently calling a hair salon and a restaurants to book appointment and reserve a table. The CEO announced that it will also be able to book seats for you at a movie theater. It interacted with the staff in such a way that they didn’t even realize they were talking to an AI. The call made to the restaurant showed a huge amount of intelligence that even the developers weren’t expecting at first. It even expresses gratitude when children ask it to do something nicely like, “Do —–, please.”
