We are living in a world where war is knitted in our lives. I am not just talking about the war between countries but also the types of wars we fight in our everyday lives like war of egos, principles or just plain words.
Talking about people living in Pakistan and in world general, very small percentage knows the wrong doings and ills of the societies they live in. People nowadays only tend to use other people for their advantage, for better or worse and there’s not just light left in the hearts.
In the mist of making money and gaining power, the so called world leaders are leading humanity in to total chaos and turmoil. In recent times, war has become a fuel to make money as the demand for warheads and artillery increases, business of multi billion dollar companies flourishes. No country can question the powerful because the fear of international sanctions and cutting of trade ties cripple a country’s economy. A small, weak or underdeveloped country with comparison to a world superpower is nothing but a land with some people to conquer and kill. The small developing country is nothing because it does not have a strong military to defend itself but rather a corrupt leadership and plenty of natural resources to exploit.
It is estimated that about 15,000,000 soldiers died in World War 2 that left thousands of grieving mothers and families. These are only the casualties of soldiers that fought for their countries, many millions of civilians died too including men, women and children.
There is a saying ‘Everything is fair in love and war’ and because no one is spared regardless women or children. The worst part of war is same specie kills one another just to become superior. The fact that no one except USA had nuclear power in the past two World wars, a lot of people still had to pay the price. But now most of the countries have nukes that includes USA, UK, India, Pakistan, France, China, North Korea and Israel. Just think for a few second so many people died in the in the Hiroshima and Nagasaki nuclear bombings but now nukes are a common weapon.
Imagine if a third world war breaks out, then about 70%-90% of the world population will be extinct. The most horrifying part of a war is that it doesn’t take the most powerful nations on earth to create a next global conflict, it could happen by the will of a single man.
