Protest from Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan has come to an end and Pir Afzal Qadri chairman TLP announced that Government has met our demands and agreed to withdraw all the cases against the TLP workers and also released the Raja Zafar-ul-Haq committee report to the public.
Other points of the agreement that was made between Government and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) are registering the FIRs for the killings of TLP workers last year in Islamabad and resignation of the Law minister Zaid Hamid. Qadri has warned the government on the behalf of TLP that if their demands are not met party workers will take on the streets and all the main roads in all major cities after the Friday prayers.
Party workers and activists took control of G.T Road, Major Highways, and even they blocked part of the Motorway on Thursday, April 12, 2018, and all the exit and entry points of all major cities in Pakistan especially in Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Mandi Bahauddin, Peshawar, Hyderabad, and Karachi. Lahore city administration suspended the metro bus service on Thursday, and it has been resumed again on Friday.
