The Lahore sit-in from Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) which is the political face of Tehreek-i-Labbaik Ya Rasool Allah (TLYRA) entered its 8th day on Monday and TLP workers are still at Data Darbaar Lahore. This Sit-in is leading by Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi who has been declared as a proclaimed offender and his arrest warrants have been released from Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) he said that party workers will not move from here until the full implementation of Faizabad agreement.
TLP which is a complete political party and according to its leadership they will take full part in next upcoming elections. Earlier this week TLP leadership addressed a press conference and said that they would not call for protest in other cities throughout the country because Government has asked for a weeks time, but their peaceful sit-in will continue at Data Darbar.
TLP last sit-in in Islamabad at the Faizabad was 20 days long and Pakistan Army played the mediator role between Government and TLP, and both parties agreed on 11 point agreement to be implemented as soon as possible, but the government seems little reluctant to implement some of the 11 points in Faizabad agreement.
