When one must, one can.” – Charlotte Whitton
Motivation is something all of us tend to lack at times, whether its simply to go get the groceries or to finish the 1000 word essay, motivation comes hard and rare to most, and even if it does, it’s fleeting and doesn’t stay long.
So how to keep your motivation to stay long enough for you to get your to-do-list done?
There’s many small ways to get the train going, but there’s only one top secret that really makes motivation stay.
And that one thing is understanding that motivation doesn’t come to you, you have to go towards it.
Motivation isn’t like a pet cat or a weather that will approach you sooner or later, it’s something you have to go after yourself and force yourself to keep it. You have to force yourself to be motivated and there’s no other science behind it.
Every time you say time nahi milta you have to understand that time milta nahi, nikalna parta hai.
What you do with your life and how you do it is all in your own head and hands, it’s your life and no one besides you will get up to get it going.
So while you have to practice small steps like finding the good reasons, making it fun, taking different approaches and keeping track of your progress, it’s still you who has to do it in the end, and if your heart and mind aren’t into it, I’m afraid no amount of inspirational words can make you do anything.
