It’s crazy to see the kind of response that Fawad Khan gets. This actor, singer and model has tons of talent & on top of that, ladies go crazy for him. They say; Fawad Khan is criminally good looking. That’s not really a phrase but yeah I think it’s suitable in this case.
Fawad Afzal Khan was born on November 29, 1981 and he’s dominating the film industry these days. He was born in Lahore Pakistan and he has spent the majority of his childhood outside of the country. He spent his early days in Manchester and he even lived for a time in Saudi Arabia as well as in Greece. Then he returned to his hometown of Lahore, Pakistan when he was 12 years old.
Fawad started his modeling career at the age of 13. At the age of 19, he made a small screen debut as a spy boy in the TV series called Jutt and Bond. It wasn’t a big success however he was destined for greater things from there. He started learning guitar, drums as well as bass and he joined a Pakistani band called Entity Paradigm (EP) as the lead singer and he began his singing career from there. In the year 2003, at the age of 22, along with other band members he released the first album, Irtiqa.
Actually, acting wasn’t his first choice for a profession because you see; he has a bachelor’s degree from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (FAST – NUCES), Lahore. Fawad originally wanted to be an aeronautical engineer or a pilot before his true calling in showbiz but I’m sure his fans are super glad that he didn’t pursue that career path at all or else, we probably would never ever know about him.
Did you know that he’s extremely allergic to dancing and he has no problem admitting this actually? I’m not really making fun of him but he says candidly that he isn’t really that great of a dancer. He says dancing is like rubbing his tummy and trying to pat his head simultaneously.
In the year 2007, he did a film called Khuda Kay Liye. This was a film which the singer and actor Ali Zafar refused the role because of scheduling. This film was a major hit and from the year 2008 he once again took up his acting career in television and he gave successful performances and TV shows like Dastaan, Humsafar as well as several other TV shows.
He made his Bollywood debut as Vikram Singh Rathore alongside Sonam Kapoor in the movie Khoobsurat and he stole everybody’s hearts. The film was a remake of the 80s movie Khoobsurat and that started the legendary actress Rekha as well as Rakesh Roshan in the lead roles. Fawad khan he received a lot of love for his performance in the movie and he started to sign on for other projects in Bollywood and then from there Bollywood began to embrace him.
Did you know that he is a self proclaimed introvert? Fawad admits that his friend circle as well as his family, is very limited and he’s known for keeping his phone off most of the time just to avoid any conversations outside of work. Even though he seem very outgoing just remember guys, that as an actor, he plays characters on TV & movies and for that, he follows a script. As a performer, his goal is to entertain. So it doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re always outgoing, energetic & high-energy chatterboxes. Fawad chooses to be a little bit more private and more to himself because he understands that sometimes when you’re in the showbiz, trying to keep up with everybody is just a lot.
Fawad is not single. He actually proposed to his wife back in the year 1998 and that was when he was just 17 years old. And after seven years he married her in the year 2005 and that woman that he married is Sadaf Khan. They have two children together a son named Ayan Khan as well as a daughter.
In India, despite the 2016 ban on Pakistani artists and actors, Fawad Khan actually found himself in the running for Best Supporting actor at the 2017 Filmfare Awards for his role in Kapoor and Sons. He’s also the first Pakistani to win a Filmfare Best Actor Award.
