Thar Coal Power Project Will Be Operational in 2018

Ahsan Iqbal minister for Planning and Development was addressing a function that was organized by Pakistan Institute of Conflict and security studies in Islamabad, and he claimed that Thar Coal Power Project will be completed this year and it will be fully operational by the end of the year 2018. The capacity of this project is about 5000-megawatt electricity production for next 400 years. He further said that the old dispute of water between the provinces will be solved by developing the Gawadar city and after the completion of Kachhi Canal Project which provides irrigation water system for 72,000 acres.

During a press conference after the function, federal minister briefed the current economic situation in Gawadar and told media personals that fear of terrorism is gone and Pakistan army has brought peace and safe infrastructure in the Gawadar area for better and peaceful trade between Pakistan and other neighboring countries like China, India, & Russia.

Now it is completing its round of rule of five years.There will be a change in the regime and let us hope that whomsoever comes in power in the next general elections should be Pakistan Lovers not Pakistan Losers. سمجھ تے گیا ای ہویئں گا۔
