Taj Haider is a Pakistani politician and a member of the senate and in vice of Dr. Abdul Hafeez Sheikh. He belongs from Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).

Taj Haider belongs from Sindh. He is a well-educated man, holding a BSc (hons) in Mathematics frrom University of Karachi and then later on achieving a MSc in the same major from the same institute.
Taj Haider’s Political Career
Taj Haider is one of the founding members of PakistanPeoples’ Party and used to be a very trusted friend of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He was elected as a member of senate during the senate elections of 2012. He took the oath and assumed office on 12th March, 2012. His six years long term will end in March 2018. His seat description is Technocrats including Ulema. Currently he is associated with a number of committees of Senate, namely; The Twenty Four Demands made by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Industries and Production, Ports and Shipping, Railway, Water and Power, Senate Finance Committee and Devolution. He is the chairman of the following committees; Delegated Legislation and The Project of China-Pak Economic Corridor.
