Fast food restaurant is a very lucrative business not only in Pakistan but all over the world. Its one of the most liquid (cash rich) businesses in Pakistan and in this article, i’ll share the requirements for opening up a restaurant in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad or any other city of Pakistan.

Requirements to Start a Restaurant/Fast Food Business in Pakistan

  • Investment – the very first thing!
  • Location – selecting the perfect location is the key to this business
  • Menu – your food must taste exceptionally great if you want to be a success in this field
  • Legal – this might be the most important requirement. Though there’s an act of 1976 ‘The Pakistan Hotels & Restaurants Act’ but all it requires is to get your food business registered like any other business in Pakistan. There’s no special license, NOC (no objection certificate) or something to start a restaurant. All you need is to provide a quality & clean space with hygienic food.

How much Investment is required to start a restaurant in Pakistan?

The amount of money needed to setup a restaurant or a fast food joint/franchise in Pakistan would largely be depending over the location of the business. So its a big question mark that can’t be answered precisely.
