Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) leader Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has been very busy since judgement report from Justice Ali Baqir Najafi has been released and made public. Many political leaders and representatives of different parties have shown their solidarity to the victims of model town massacre incident in 2014. Almost every party leader ensured Dr Qadri of their support to get justice for the victims. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) senior leadership held a meeting after the report made public and decided to send a delegation to meet Dr Tahir ul Qadri in Lahore on Saturday December, 9th, 2017. Six member deligation which consists of Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jahangir Tareen, Aleem Khan, Ejaz Chaudhry, Chaudhry Sarwar, and Mian Mehmood-ur-Rasheed will visit dr qadri to show their support with PAT workers and will ensure PTI’s presence in case of any protest against the government untill justice has been served.
Other parties including Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), & Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) has also shown their support with PAT & Dr Tahir ul Qadri. PPP’s co-chair person Asif Ali Zardari met Dr Qadri on friday december 8th 2017 in his residence and held a press conference with him where both leaders demanded resignation from Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Law Minister Rana Sannah Ullah as according to the report of Justice Ali Baqir Najafi these 2 Government officials were responsible for the Massacre event in model town & killing of 14 innocent people. Dr Qadri also contacted Mustafa Kamal chairman of PSP and appreciated his vocal support on the model town incident, who also held Rana Sannah Ullah & and invited him for a meeting in Lahore at his residence on Saturday. Kamal accepted his invitation and will be meeting him on saturday to ensure PSP support untill justice will be served.
