Process to Approve House/Building Map From LDA (Lahore Development Authority)

LDA (Lahore Development Authority) is responsible for new planned development in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is also responsible for the regulation, issuance and permissions for new construction projects, private and commercial development. When a person or an entity plans to construct a building he has to go through certain verification processes; following is a list of requirements as mentioned by LDA:

  •  Submit application along with copy of ownership certificate,
  • Copy of CNIC,
  • 4 original copies of building plan drawing along with A,B Form issued by an architect & copy of physical possession certificate.
  • After issuance & submission of building plan fee challan, applicant has to submit application along with copy of paid challan & CNIC.

After the mentioned process, the following  process is to be followed to get the NOC for the building:

Applicant has to submit application along with copy of ownership document (exemption letter/allotment letter/transfer letter) copy of CNIC, After issuance & submission NOC fee challan, applicant has to submit application along with copy of paid challan & CNIC. To check LDA online application status and LDA map approval fee, log-on to LDA website .

What you think that a non technical person is getting approval of stamped plan by architect and can start a house without any consultant (I am talking about small house) Who will supervise the engineering practices please think about this also and save the engineers make some rules so that Engineer’s can be hire
