Kami Sid who broke stereotypes as Pakistan’s first transgender model has continually talked about the rights of third gender is making the nation proud again and again. The transgender activist short film ‘Rani’ will be making its debut at the Newport Beach Film Festival in the United States.
The short film has been chosen for screening at the festival which will keep on running from April 26 to May 3 in Orange County, California. Kami’s ‘Rani’ will be screened on April 30 as a major aspect of ‘A Short Moment of Decision’ program.
The transgender activist took to Instagram to share her energy. “Super eager to at long last declare that Rani will debut at the Newport Beach Film Festival on April 30. In case you’re in LA or Orange County, do turn out and witness some amazing movies!”
Rani spins around a transgender lady who finds and raises a relinquished newborn child while handling social issues prevailing in Pakistani society.
The Newport Beach Film Festival is held every year in California and screens multi-class, autonomous and studio films from all over the world.
