Pakistani Authors Get Nominated For DSC Prize!

Pakistan has tons of literary talent, and out of the many, Kamila Shamsie and Mohsin Hamid are the two Pakistani authors who have been shortlisted for the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature!

Shamsie’s 7th novel Home Fire and Hamid’s Exit West have been shortlisted for the exclusive prize, where they competed with four other authors for this prize.

Winner of the award will receive a prize of $25,000.

And previously, these British-Pakistani authors were long-listed for the prestigious Man Booker prize.

Congratulations to the both of them! May the best author win.
