Osman Saifullah Khan is a Pakistani politician and a member of the senate. He belongs from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
Education of Osman Saifullah Khan
Osman holds a Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Christ Church of University of Oxford. He received this degree in 1995. He graduated, holding a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University in 2009.
Osman Saifullah Khan’s Political Career
Osman was elected as a member of senate during the senate elections of 2012. He will retire in March 2018. Currently he is associated with a number of committees of Senate, namely; Gas Infra Structure Development Cess Bill, 2015, Finance Revenue Economics Affairs Statistics and Privatization, Information Technology and Telecommunication, Committee on Rules of Procedure and Privileges and The Project of China-Pak Economic Corridor. He also serves as the chairperson of Science and Technology committee. Osman was surrounded by huge controversy when he was named in the Panama leaks 2016. Rumor was spreading that he is likely to lose his seat of the senate due to non-declaration of his offshore companies in his asset list. However this issue was muffled and he still remains an active member.
