Nawaz Sharif & Maryam Seeks Exemption From Court Appearance

Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz appeared in National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court along with Maryam’s Husband Capt (Retd) Safdar for the proceedings on Avenfield apartments case. Mian Nawaz Sharif and his daughter requested NAB court’s judge to grant them exemptions from appearing in the court on Avenfield apartments case. Reason for their plea is that they can travel to London where Kulsoom Nawaz Sharif is going under medical treatment of Cancer.

A medical report of Kulsoom Nawaz was attached with the plea application to the judge which says that Kulsoom will be undergoing chemotherapy and her doctor have advised besides his wife. According to the sources, the court has reserved its decision on this plea application, and the judge has turned down their request for exemption from appearing to the court. The request stated that Ali Aimal and Jahangir Jadoon will appear in place of Nawaz and Maryam respectively.
