National Accountability Bearue (NAB) court has declared Ishaq Dar as a proclaimed offender and absconder in an accountability case according to which he has assets and resources way beyond his declared means of income. Chairman of NAB Justice(retd) Javed Iqbal conducted a meeting with other judges from the NAB court on this panel and they claimed that Ishaq Dar is not suffering any sort of ailment which cannot be treated in Pakistan, so there is no valid reason for him to miss his court appearance even after the issuance of his nonbailable warrants,
According to the sources, Ishaq Dar the Former Finance Minister of Pakistan has skipped his court hearings despite his arrest warrants has been issued and he has been informed several times but his continuous absence from court appearance cannot be tolerated as claimed by the judge Justice Muhammad Bashir. In a meeting held earlier this week was called by the NAB chairman and it was decided in the meeting that NAB will approach Interpol to issue Red warrants of Ishaq Dar for his arrest, who is currently in London for his treatment.
Two witnesses whose names were kept in secret due to the security issues have testified against Ishaq Dar and presented his bank account details of him and his dependents, and according to the statements submitted in the court his assets pecuniary interests and sources in his name are worth Rs 831 Million of which he was unable to mention the source of this wealth.
