Ms Hameeda Waheed-ud-Din is a Japanese-Pakistani politician who serves as the Women Development Minister of Punjab and a member of the Punjab Assembly from Mandi Bahauddin of PP-116.

Ms. Waheeduddin was born in Osaka and studied in Japan before receiving her B.A. from Lahore College for Women in 1999.
Political Career of Ms. Hameeda
She is affiliated with a public movement of right wing, with deep roots in society Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz). Ms. Hameeda served as Nazim of the Union Council No.4. She remained a Member of the Provincial Assembly of Punjab during 2002-07 and served as Parliamentary Secretary for Literacy & Non-Formal Basic Education between 2003 and 2007. She has been elected as a Member of the Punjab Assembly for the second term in general elections 2013 and is serving as Minister for Women Development.
There are very few female politicians in Pakistan and she has been a credible woman of high moral as she suites the importance of her position. She has worked passionately for upholding the trust of her voters. She has played key roles in improving livelihood conditions and better working environment for women. She has also worked side by side with many NGOs in improving their work. She is also known for his social works, taking care after the needy and bringing welfare projects for building local community.
