Imran Khan recently visited Saudi Arabia, and was greeted in the Saudi Capital by Governor Riyadh Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz and Ambassador of Pakistan to Saudi Arabia Khan Hashim bin Siddique and senior officials.
The Pakistani Prime Minister arrived in the Saudi capital on Tuesday to attend the Future Investment Initiative Conference (FIIC) and meet the Saudi leadership, and was the respect he was given showed the importance of Pakistan in the Muslim world now due to his efforts, as said by the Information Minister, Ch Fawad Hussain.
Earlier, the PM landed in Madina Munawara where the Pakistani premier was given warm welcome by the Saudi authorities. He was received at the airport by Governor Madina Prince Faisal Bin Salman and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan Nawaf Al-Maliki and senior Saudi officials.
And though this might on seem like much, but it is no secret what the reputation of Pakistan over the years had been in the Muslim and Western World, and this display of honor and respect for the Prime Minister not only warms our hearts for the Saudi Kingdom but also shows the change and acceptance.
