Syed Imad Wasim, is a Welsh-born Pakistani cricketer who played in the 2006 U-19 Cricket World Cup for the national team and has also played first-class, List A cricket and Twenty20 cricket in Pakistan. He is a left-handed batman and a left-arm orthodox bowler. He is Vice Captain of Pakistani T20I Team.

Imad Wasim was born on 8th December 1988 (age 28) in Swansea, Glamorgan, and Wales but lived most of his life in Islamabad, Pakistan. He quit the chance to go to medical school to pursue a career in the Cricket world.

He made his Twenty20 International debut for Pakistan against Zimbabwe in Lahore on 24 May 2015. He made his One Day International debut for Pakistan against Sri Lanka on 19 July 2015. He was selected in the Pakistan squad for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20.
In 2016, he became the first Pakistani to grab a five-wicket haul in a T20I, when he achieved the feat against West Indies in Dubai. In a historic 2017 Champions Trophy campaign, where Pakistan defied all odds to to lift the trophy, he played a vital role, chipping in with useful hands with both bat and ball. He followed it up with an impressive CPL, playing for the Jamaica Tallahwahs. The year was made all the more special when the PCB conferred him with the T20 Player of the Year.
He has won 3 Man of the Match awards and 2 Player of the Series awards.

An Afghanistan-born Dutch woman, whose pictures surfaced with Imad Wasim, accused the cricketer of being “disloyal to her.”
The pictures of the cricketer with an unknown female had sparked a social media frenzy. The girl claimed to have met Wasim in London and also alleged that the cricketer promised to marry her but then refused to acknowledge her later on. Imad, however, refuted all allegations of promising to marry the girl. Imad Wasim, in a video message, denied having any relation with the girl, saying that she was just a fan who was resorting to blackmailing.
