Now the Royat e Hilal Committee announced the news for the sighting of the moon, and it was not seen.
So that means Eid-ul-Fitr will be on June 16th, InshaAllah. That gives everyone another 24 hours to prepare for Eid and finish their last minute tasks that were left undone.
Whether its shopping for food supplies, or finding the best matching churiyan with your Eid dress, or running to the parlor to get that hair cut or getting fresh notes to give as Eidi to the kids: all these and more last minute tasks almost all of us somehow end up having can be done, while keeping in mind the unimaginable blessings of the last and the reward for the prayer made then.
So while you prepare for the festivities of Eid, don’t forget to also prepare to collect the eternal blessings of Allah Almighty on this 30th of Ramadan!
And now since we know when Eid will be, I wish everyone reading this a blessed Eid.
