Government Laid The Foundation Stone In Jhang For LNG Power Plant

Government had full filled their promises to completely get rid of load shedding, and starting several power plants to produce electricity. One of their project plan is the new LNG power plant in Jhang, which has started as of Saturday Dec 9th, 2017. Foundation stone has been laid by the Prime Minister Shahid Khakan Abbasi who was accompanied by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif & Federal Minister Abid Sher Ali. The 1,263 Megawatt LNG power plant is being constructed near the Trimmu Barrage. The project is being funded by China and Punjab government. The project is slated to be completed in 26 months. It will start power generation of 810 MW within 14 months and 1,263 MW once it is completed.

Talking on the event, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif pledged a conclusion to the load shedding issue with solid measures taken by the PML-N government. The Chief Minister brought up that all power ventures have been finished rapidly with most extreme straightforwardness.
