Political Career of M. Tufail
His career in politics began when he decided to join Pakistan muslim league N in 2013. He was given the ticket to contest elections in that same year . Being his first experience in the elections , he wasn’t able to win the seat in the national assembly at the time.
In the by elections in 2013, it came as no surprise when he was given the ticket to contest after the MNA for seat NA 164 was disqualified. PML-N wasn’t disappointed this time around either as he was able to defeat his PTI rival this time around and secured his place in the National assembly .
He is also the ex tehsil nazim of Chicha watni. He was also appointed to the position of federal parliamentary secretary for privatization
