In Support to Vinta, the co-star of Alok Nath also came forward “I have seen Alok Nath behave badly when he is drunk. He was a very different person when he was not drunk. And that’s the Alok I would personally like to remember. Vinta Nanda’s account was completely horrifying. I felt very bad because it’s a known fact that Alok, very sadly, had a Jekyll and Hyde personality. Somewhere down the line, with alcohol and his chemistry, things go wrong. I have seen him behave very lecherously after he has been drunk. Even at one time, I wouldn’t say he made a pass at me, but I didn’t like the way he was looking at me. And he would never do that when he was sober,”said  Soni Razdan.

He has also allegedly harassed Tara lead role actress Navneet Nishan (who also played the role of Phupo in movie tum bin) for four years.

Navneet Nishan

“I support every woman and man who is standing up for herself/himself in the #MeToo movement. I empathise with Vinta for the terrible pain she has gone through; it is unimaginable. I dealt with the four-year harassment by slapping the man in question and it is done and dusted. l suffered the loss of the show and was further shamed by the man through media and I endured that. I fought my battles there and then. I am immensely glad that the power trip and sexual dominance coming from this power is being called out. It is high time.” said Navneet.

Similar thing were said by actress Himani Shivpuri and actor Deven Bhojnani. Another woman anonymously alleges that Mr Nath stripped in front of her on the set of 1998 film Hum Saath-Saath Hain, on which she was a crew member.

Sandhya Mridul, best-known for her work in TV series like Swabhimaan and Koshish shared her #MeToo story on twitter and accused Alok Nath. She said that he would try and force his way into her hotel room where, he lunged at her, screaming, “I want you, you are mine.”

The allegations by Ms Mridul and the woman crew member Alok Nath had allegedly spread the word that she was difficult to work with – something Vinta Nanda says he did with her as well. These allegations were casually dismissed by Alok Nath’s lawyer as, “It normally happens,” ANI reports.
