Ali Haider is a Pakistani singer who was at the peak of his performance in the early 90s. His talents range from singing and producing to acting and most recently, being a radio jockey.
Ali Haider’s Age and Education
Ali Haider was born and raised in the Pakistani city of Karachi near Firdous colony where he attended local schools for his lower level education. He was enrolled in a civil engineering degree at NED University when his career in the entertainment industry took off and he dropped out of the university to pursue his career.
Ali Haider’s Career in the Entertainment Industry
Ali Haider reached the peak of his popularity in the early 90s, specifically after the release og his song ‘Puraani Jeans’ in 1993 as a part of his album ‘Sandesa’. Other big hits of that time included songs like ‘Qarar’ and ‘Chahat’ with another hit following later in the 90s named ‘Chand sa Mukhra’. Over the years, Ali Haider has produced upto seventeen albums out of which multiple songs have been extremely popular nationwide. He has collaborated with many well-known artists in his albums including names like Nayyara Noor and Sadaf Munir/Iqbal. Composition of the music was also collaborated on with other big names in the industry including Bunny and Amir Khan.
Ali Haider also dabbled in acting with his debut film ‘Chalo Ishq Larain’. At the same time he became one of the pioneers of trance music worldwide and the only person to introduce it in the urdu language. In addition to this he acted in numerous television series on PTV and provided music for the theme songs for ‘Chaandni Raatein’ and ‘Chand sa mukhra’. Currently he is involved with work on the drama serial ‘Eik aur dekh dhai’.
