39th Death Anniversary Of ZAB Being Observed On April 4

It has been 39 years since the death of a legend and a real well wisher of democratic Pakistan and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto (ZAB), who was also the founder of the 2nd largest political force in the country Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). His death Anniversary is being observed on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018.

Arrangements for the ceremony to be held in Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto have been completed on Tuesday night, where Labour and Human Resources Department of Sindh declared a public holiday for the province of Sindh on this occasion, and the anniversary will be observed with great honor and respect. All the local leaders of the party and leaders of parties from different parts of the country will attend the ceremony where Quran Khani will be held around 10:00 am until dua will be offered at 01:00 pm, followed by a detailed documentary on the struggles he made for the real democracy in Pakistan. Very tight security arrangements have been made for the ceremony with more than 7000 police officials have been deployed to deal with any sort of security breach or threat.

A public meeting led by Party Chairman and grandson of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, Balawal Bhutto Zardari, will be held at Garhi Khuda Buksh that will be addressed by him and Co-chairman of PPP and former president of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari. Other speakers will pay their tribute to their party founder includes the Chief Minister (CM), Syed Murad Ali Shah, and opposition leader in the Parliament Khursheed Ahmed Shah and other party representatives throughout the country.
