3 More Members Of MQM Left & Join PSP

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan which was the leading political party in Sindh before 2013 general elections. Party started to lose it candidate after corruption charges on party’s founder and chairman Altaf Hussain. Many party members left MQM when the real face of Altaf was exposed.

In 2016 a very important member Mustafa Kamal was head of MQM operations in Sindh and former Mayor of Karachi had some conflicts with Altaf Hussain and left MQM and announced his own party which he names Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP). Earlier he received a lot of criticism but then many MQM members left their party and join PSP.

Recently three more members of MQM one from National Assembly and other two are from Sindh Assembly. Mr. Mehmood Alam elected MNA from a Karachi National Assembly constituency (NA-242) in Orangi Town, was part of the MQM-P’s Bahadurabad group. Mr. Kamran and Mr. Khalid were elected as members of the Sindh Assembly from PS-111 (Lyari/Usmanabad/Ramaswam) and PS-94 (Orangi Town), respectively, in the 2013 general elections. They were said to be part of Dr. Farooq Sattar-led PIB group.
