New Islamabad International Airport Operational in April

Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Airport Security Force (ASF), and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) representatives have announced that New Islamabad International Airport is in the last stages of its completion and will be fully operational in the month of April 2018.

Estimated total cost of the new airport is Rs. 85 billion, and it will accommodate dozens of planes and has 2 runways with the modern Aerobridges and Radar system which will enhance the security. With the help of modern and high-end state of the art airfield lightening system that will improve the accuracy and precision of Landing.  This New Islamabad International Airport will have fifteen passengers boarding bridges and huge parking area and it will accommodate almost 9 million passengers every year.
